Vanishing on 7th Street Movie

Vanishing on 7th Street is an upcoming sci-fi horror thriller movie directed by Brad Anderson (who once directed the Transsiberian) based on a script by Anthony Jaswinski . The film is starring Hayden Christensen, Thandie Newton, John Leguizamo, Jacob Latimore, and Taylor Groothuis. The movie Vanishing on 7th Street should be released in 2010.

Here's a first look at the movie Vanishing on 7th Street:

Plot:
"A mysterious, seemingly global blackout yields countless populations to simply vanish, leaving only their clothes and possessions behind. Five survivors including a reporter (Hayden Christensen) and a nurse (Thandie Newton) converge in a small tavern and try to make sense of the mystery. But when they discover that shadowy figures wandering in the darkness are the cause of the phenomenon a desperate fight for survival begins."

What are those shadowy figures? I'm already hooked by the plot of Vanishing on 7th Street, I definitely want to know more this film!
